Super Fast Global Search
This module allows you to â a powerful universal search tool that lets you find any record instantly from a single search box in the Odoo header. It allows to get real-time results from multiple modules (Sales, Purchase, Inventory, Accounting, Contacts, Products, and more) in one place. The search works with partial matches, respects user access rights, and allows you to open records directly from the search results â making navigation faster and more efficient.

CONFIGURATION
Navigate to Settings > Global Search menu > Add or configure models by creating entries > This quick setup ensures seamless, high-performance global search tailored to your needs.
Navigate to Settings > Technical > Parameters > System Parameters. Here you can set Enter the desired Value (e.g., an integer for result limits like "10" to show only 10 results per category).
To Accessing the Global Search Bar > Click the search icon in the top-right header and The global search bar will open instantly.
As you type in the search bar, the Super Fast Global Search instantly displays matching records in real-time, (type keywords related to the records you want to find, such as a customer name, product code, or order number).
Here we set a default limit of 5 results per model is applied, so it's showing only the top 5 most relevant records in each models. This keeps the dropdown clean and focused, allowing quick scanning and selection.
Once you've found the desired record in the search results, simply click on it (or use the arrow keys and press Enter) to open it instantly.
For example, selecting the result for S00010 directly opens the corresponding Sales Order form view no need to navigate through menus or lists.
