Inventory Valuation Details

View product-level stock valuation, cost method, unit cost, total value, and expected accounting impact directly from transfers, scrap orders, and manufacturing orders.

Overview

Inventory Valuation Details gives inventory and accounting users a clear breakdown of the valuation behind completed stock operations. Instead of checking stock moves manually, users can open a valuation view from the related transfer, scrap order, or manufacturing order.

The module uses Odoo's stock accounting data and product configuration to show quantity, unit cost, total valuation, cost method, valuation method, source document, and expected journal lines for operational review.

Installation

  1. Download the module from the Odoo App Store.
  2. Place the bs_inventory_valuation_details folder in your Odoo addons directory.
  3. Restart the Odoo server.
  4. Go to Settings → Apps, search for Inventory Valuation Details, and click Install.
  5. Open a completed transfer, scrap order, or manufacturing order and use the valuation smart button.
Requirements: Odoo 19.0 with the standard stock_account and mrp_account modules installed.

Technical Details

No Data Export Uses Odoo data locally and does not send inventory or accounting data to external services.
Computed Display Fields Adds computed valuation, cost, document, and expected account fields on stock moves.
