Product Block on Mailing Template
Add a dynamic product showcase block to your email campaigns directly from the Email Designer - no coding required.
What does this module do?
Product Block on Mailing Template adds a ready-to-use Products Block snippet to the Odoo Email Designer. Drag it into any mailing, type a list of product references or barcodes, and the block renders each product with its image, name, and price - automatically pulling live data from your catalog.
The block is fully configurable from the sidebar: apply a pricelist, a fiscal position, choose the language and website, or hide prices entirely. Product images link to the product page on your website, making your emails instantly shoppable.
Drag-and-drop snippet
A new Products Block snippet appears in the Email Designer content panel. Drag it into your template like any other block.
Filter by reference or barcode
Enter a comma-separated list of internal references (SKU) or EAN barcodes. The block fetches and displays only the matching products.
Product cards with images
Each product is rendered as a card with its catalog image, name, price, and a View product button that links to the product page.
Pricelist and fiscal position
Display prices from a specific pricelist and optionally apply a fiscal position to show tax-adjusted prices relevant to your audience.
Multi-website and multi-language
Choose which website's base URL is used for product links, and render the block content in any configured language of your Odoo instance.
Display options
Toggle price visibility, remove the clickable link from product images, and customize card texts - all from the sidebar without touching code.
Adding the Products Block to a mailing
Open the Email Designer, find Products Block in the content snippets panel, and drag it into your email. The block renders a placeholder grid that updates in real time as you enter product references.
Using the Products Block in an email campaign
Follow these steps to add a live product showcase to any mailing.

Open the Email Designer
Go to Email Marketing and open or create a mailing. Click Edit to enter the Email Designer.

Add the Products Block snippet
In the left panel, locate Products Block under the content snippets. Drag it into your email layout and drop it in the desired position.

Enter product references or barcodes
Click the block to select it. In the sidebar, find the Product filter field and enter a comma-separated list of internal references (e.g.
REF001, REF002) or EAN barcodes. The block updates immediately to show the matching products. -
Configure price display
Choose a Pricelist to display prices from a specific price schedule, and optionally set a Fiscal Position to apply tax mapping. Toggle Hide price to remove prices entirely from the rendered cards.

Customize card texts and layout
Click directly on a product card to edit text elements such as the button label or any editable area. Use Remove image link in the sidebar to make product images non-clickable if needed.

Set website and language (optional)
If you run multiple websites, select the target Website so that product links point to the correct domain. Choose a Language to render translated product names and content for your audience.

Save and send
Save the mailing template as usual. When the email is sent, the block renders each product with its live image, name, and computed price.

Configuration
This module works out of the box with no required configuration after installation. The options below are available per-block directly in the Email Designer sidebar.
Sidebar options reference

| Product filter | Comma-separated list of internal references (default_code) or EAN barcodes. Products not matching any value are excluded. |
| Remove image link | When checked, product images are displayed without a hyperlink to the product page. |
| Hide price | When checked, the price is not displayed on any product card. |
| Pricelist | Select a pricelist to compute product prices. Visible only when Hide price is unchecked. |
| Fiscal Position | Apply a fiscal position to add tax adjustments on top of the pricelist price. Visible only when Hide price is unchecked. |
| Website | Choose which website's base URL is used for the View product button links and for the company currency. |
| Language | Render product names and content in the selected language. |
Requirements
- Products must have an Internal Reference or Barcode to be found by the filter.
- Products must have a Sales Price set if prices are to be displayed.
- Product images must be uploaded on the product record for cards to render an image.
