CAP Access Management
Overview
All-in-one Access Management for Odoo 19.
A simplified access management solution to configure menus, models, fields, buttons, tabs, domains, chatter, import/export and developer mode from one place — without technical setup.
Features
Menu Access — hide menus and sub-menus for selected users or groups.
Model Access — block Create, Edit, Delete, Duplicate, Archive; hide Import / Export; hide List / Form / Kanban / Graph / Pivot / Calendar views.
Field Access — Invisible, Readonly, Required, or remove relational open links.
Button / Tab Access — pick buttons and notebook tabs from the selected model’s views (multi-select tags).
Domain Access — record rules so users only see matching records.
Chatter Access — hide chatter globally or per model (send message, log note, activities).
Global flags — Read-only user, disable developer mode, hide Import / Export, disable login.
Multi-company — apply profiles to users, groups and companies from one screen.
How It Works
01
Install CAP Access Management from Apps. Enable the group Access Management Administrator for users who will configure profiles.
02
Open the app menu Access Management → Access Profiles. Create a profile and assign Users and/or Groups (optionally limit by Companies).
03
Configure global flags (read-only, hide import/export, disable debug, hide chatter, disable login) and the detail tabs: Menu, Model, Field, Domain, Button/Tab and Chatter Access. Save the profile.
04
Restricted users should refresh or log out / log in. Menus, views, fields, buttons/tabs and chatter then follow the Access Profile rules.
