Transfer Product Catalog for Odoo 19 Inventory
A Captivea extension that brings Odoo's native product catalog experience directly into warehouse transfers — so your team can build move lines faster, with clearer product context at the point of picking.
Overview
Standard Odoo transfers rely on line-by-line product selection. For teams handling large catalogs or many variants, that workflow slows down dispatch, receiving, and internal replenishment. This module connects the stock transfer form to Odoo 19's built-in catalog kanban — no duplicate UI layer, no core overrides.
What You Get
Warehouse operations
- Catalog entry point on outgoing, incoming, and internal pickings
- Demand editing from the catalog without manual row creation
- Stock figures surfaced on each card through standard inventory widgets
- Automatic read-only mode once a transfer is closed or cancelled
Product information
- Full display name and variant attribute chips on cards
- Commercial price aligned with the related sales order when present
- Internal reference carried through the native catalog line header
- Category, attribute, and favorite filters from the standard search panel
Who It Helps
Distribution centres preparing customer shipments, receiving docks validating inbound goods, and stores running inter-warehouse replenishment all benefit from the same interface. It is especially useful when product codes are hard to memorise or when variant differentiation matters for pick accuracy.
Setup & Daily Use
No wizard or warehouse setting is required. Install the module, open a transfer, and the catalog action appears in the move list footer.
Step A — Start from the transfer form
Navigate to any draft or open picking in Inventory. On the Operations notebook page, use the catalog shortcut below the move list to launch the product browser in context of that transfer.
Step B — Review products with full context
The kanban layout surfaces what pickers need before committing a line: thumbnail, configured variant values, unit price, reference code, and current stock levels. Narrow the list with Odoo's regular catalog search tools.
Step C — Set demand from the card
Select a product to add it to the transfer. Adjust requested quantity with the inline stepper or direct numeric entry. Removing a product clears the underlying move. Updates are persisted through Odoo's standard catalog RPC endpoints.
Step D — Close the session and continue processing
Leave the catalog view and return to the picking document. Move lines reflect the quantities defined during the session. From there, run your normal reservation, packing, and validation steps.
