Car Repair Dashboard
User can see car repair dashboard with car repair details and can access from there.
Car Repair Menu
Under Car Repair menu, users have access to Repair Orders, Diagnosis, Work Orders, Meeting Slots, Checklists, and Service Types.
Access Rights and Roles
We have four different access groups for the Car Service & Repair module.
- Technician: Can only see and work on his/her own assigned work orders. Read-only access to Diagnosis and Repair Orders.
- Head Technician: Can see all work orders, assign technicians on diagnosis and work orders, and enter diagnosis results. Cannot modify repair orders.
- Service Manager: Creates repair orders, converts them to diagnosis, and creates quotations.
- Director / Commercial (Admin): Full access to all records, configurations, and reports in the module.
Create Appointment from Website
User can create an appointment from the website by clicking "Create Appointment" menu, entering an appointment date, and clicking "View Time Slot". Reserved time slots will be shown in Red.
Create Car Repair Appointment (Service/Repair/Maintenance)
User can create a repair appointment by clicking the "Service/Repair/Maintenance" button. Enter Reason for Repair, Car Brand, Service type, and Repair Details, then click Submit.
Appointment Calendar View
User can see created appointments in the calendar with the selected time slot highlighted.
Meeting Slots
User can create appointment time slots for each day. Customers will see available slots on the website in real time.
Create Car Repair Order
Under Car Repair > Car Repair menu, user can create and manage car repair orders. Add client details, car details, repair service details, repair checklist, and repair notes.
Car & Service Details
User can add car service details like Car Guarantee, Guarantee Type, Fuel Type, License Plate, Chassis Number, and Manufacture Year on the repair order.
Car Repair Checklist
Under Car Repair > Checklists menu, user can create checklists and add them to any car repair order. Each item has a Done checkbox for quality control.
Timesheet in Car Repair
User can add working hours in the car repair timesheet. It is connected with the default Odoo Timesheet module for accurate labor tracking.
Print Car Repair Reports
User can print car repair reports from the repair order. Available reports include Car Label Report, Car Receipt Report, and Car Checklist Report.
Create Car Diagnosis
User can create a car diagnosis based on the repair order. The diagnosis captures detailed inspection results, spare parts needed, and labor hours.
Assign Diagnosis to Technician
User can see the created car diagnosis and assign it to a specific technician based on their expertise and availability.
Print Car Diagnosis Reports
These reports include all data about the car diagnosis: results, parts details, and technician information. Available as Car Diagnosis Request Report and Car Diagnosis Result Report.
Car Diagnosis and Sale Quotation
Once diagnosis is complete, a quotation must be created. After confirming it, a Work Order related to the sale order will be automatically generated.

Worker can Start, Pause, put in Pending, Cancel, or Finish the work order as per the progress on the car. When the work order is done, an invoice can be generated for the related sale order.

Car Work Orders Report
This report shows all information about work done on the car, generated from work order details including technician, parts used, and time spent.
Invoice
The "Create Invoice" button creates an invoice for the current sale order. Invoice includes all repair lines, parts, and labor costs.
Fully Automated Workflow
Repair Order, Diagnosis, and Work Order are fully automated with a workflow process. Any status change reflects across all linked documents.
e.g. When a Quotation is created and sent, the Repair Order stage changes to "Quotation Sent". When the Work Order is finished, it updates the Repair Order as "Work Order Completed".
Repair Order Customer Review & Ratings
Once the repair order is done, an email is automatically sent to the customer for ratings and review. The customer can rate by clicking the link in the email.
