Cash Credit Customer Manager is a powerful Odoo module that brings intelligent customer classification and automated payment control to your business. This module separates cash and credit customers with automatic payment terms assignment, smart validation on sales orders and invoices, dynamic credit limit management with real-time visibility, and comprehensive sales person tracking. Perfect for businesses managing mixed payment terms, enforcing credit policies, preventing cash customers in credit sales, and maintaining strict financial control over customer transactions.
Key Features
- Dual Customer Classification: Separate customers into Cash (عميل نقدى) and Credit (عميل ائتمان) types. Each type has different payment terms, credit limits, and access rules. Bilingual labels support Arabic and English for global businesses.
- Automatic Payment Terms: Cash customers automatically get "Immediate Payment" terms (readonly). Credit customers have editable payment terms (15/30/45 days). No manual assignment needed - the system handles it intelligently based on customer type!
- Dynamic Credit Limit Management: Credit customers can have credit limits with checkbox control. "Use Credit Limit" checkbox toggles field visibility - unchecked hides the field, checked shows required credit limit input. Automatic field clearing when disabled. Perfect for businesses with flexible credit policies!
- Smart Customer Validation: Sales Orders accept ONLY Credit Customers. Direct Invoices accept ONLY Cash Customers. Warning popups prevent wrong customer selection. Exception: Invoices created from Sales Orders allow credit customers (proper workflow). Prevents billing mistakes and ensures policy compliance!
- Sales Person Tracking: Sales Person field on both Sales Orders and Invoices. Auto-copies from SO to Invoice. Required field on direct invoices. Complete sales accountability and commission tracking built-in!
- Access Control & Groups: Two security groups control customer creation: "Cash Customer Group" and "Credit Customer Group". Segregation of duties ensures only authorized users can create specific customer types. Admin controls everything!
- Smart Field Visibility: Cash customers never see credit limit fields (hidden automatically). Credit customers see fields based on checkbox state. Clean, uncluttered forms that show only relevant information. Better user experience!
- Menu Organization: "Sales Orders" renamed to "Credit Sales" (only credit customers). New "Cash Sales" menu for direct invoices (only cash customers). Clear separation prevents confusion and enforces proper workflow!
