ODOO'S FUNCTION

Odoo utilizes a built-in validation system where approval rules and permissions are configured directly within the standard PLM stages .


CLUEDOO'S FUNCTION

CLuedoo provides a custom validation framework that, when enabled in the PLM stage settings, completely overwrites Odoo's native rules. It executes its own custom backend logic while seamlessly utilizing the standard Odoo " Approve " button to trigger the action in the user interface.

CONFIGURATION

Go to PLM > Configuration > ECO Stages and select a stage.

Check the Use CLuedoo Validation field.

e.g., Validated stage


Navigate to CLuedoo Approval Rules > Create an approval rule as you wish.

Actions:

  • Model: Engineering Change Order (ECO)
  • Method: approve
  • Approvers: Mitchell Admin
  • Conditions: Stage = Validated

USAGE


1. Create an ECO > Fill in the necessary information > Start Revision


2. When the ECO reaches the configured stage > CLuedoo validation process is applied.
