ODOO'S FUNCTION

In standard Odoo, managing documents, designing layouts, and signing files are completely separate. Users have to manually move files between different apps, which is slow, easily creates duplicate file clutter, and fails to sync design changes back to the original document.


CLUEDOO'S FUNCTION

Cluedoo effortlessly bridges the gap by uniting your documents, visual design tools, and digital signatures into a single, cohesive workspace:

  • Unified Workspace: Visually map out fields (like barcodes, images, or text) directly onto PDF templates right inside the Documents application.

  • Direct Signing Flow: Instantly convert your designed drawing templates into official documents and trigger Odoo Sign requests with a single click.

  • Automated Layout Mapping: Automatically carry over all configured field positions and visual elements to final client documents, eliminating manual rework.

CONFIGURATION

1.Open the Documents application > Click the Gear icon next to the workspace name (located directly below the purple New button).

2. Hover over Actions on Select in the dropdown menu > Enable the Sign checkbox to activate the shortcut button for this workspace.

USAGE

Upload and Layout Design

1.Click the purple New button (top-left corner), select Upload , and choose your PDF template from your computer.

2. User double click on the on the uploaded PDF file to open it > On the top toolbar, click Drawing to open the design interface.

3.  From the left panel, drag and drop the required static elements ( Barcode, Text, or Image ) onto the document page > Save the file
> Click the green Create Document button (top-right corner) to lock in the layout and generate the official file. The system will automatically redirect you to the new document file.

4. On the top toolbar, click the More dropdown menu (located next to the Drawing button) > Select Sign from the dropdown list.

Result: The system automatically redirects you to the Odoo Sign interface.



5. Drag and drop the signature fields onto the document as needed and click send > Click Sign now

6.  An "Adopt Your Signature" pop-up window will appear. Configure the following fields:

  • Full Name: Enter the name of the signer.

  • Signature Type: Select Auto (system-generated style), Draw (manual drawing), or Load (upload an image file).

> Click the Sign all button at the bottom of the pop-up to finish. The document is successfully executed, displaying the final layout with your static drawing elements and the newly applied digital signature together.
