Turn Odoo’s generic login into a truly branded experience
Design, preview, and publish a fully branded login and signup screen — colors, logo, background, dynamic fields, and submission analytics — without touching a template file.
Odoo ships with a fixed, generic login and signup screen that looks like every other Odoo instance on the internet. Any business exposing a website, portal, or storefront is forced to hand visitors an unbranded page at the exact moment they are asked to type a password — and fixing it means editing source templates that break on every upgrade.
A backend Login Builder app lets you configure colors, fonts, logo, and background, preview the result live, add reorderable custom fields to login and signup, and publish per website — all from configuration, with every submission logged for analytics. No template edits, no upgrade breakage.
Everything a branded login page needs
Every capability below is implemented in the module.
Live Theme Builder
Configure colors, fonts, logo, and background, then see the exact themed login card in a live preview tab before it ever goes live.
Built-in Theme Presets
Start from Minimal, Corporate, Creative, or Dark presets, or dial in a fully custom palette — no design skills required.
Custom Backgrounds & Branding
Set a solid color, image, or gradient background, add your logo and tagline, and inject custom CSS for pixel-perfect control.
Dynamic, Reorderable Fields
Add custom fields to login, signup, or both, drag to reorder, and choose text, email, phone, number, dropdown, checkbox, or password types.
Field Validation
Mark fields required, attach a validation pattern, and show a custom, on-brand error message when a submission does not pass.
Multi-Site Theming
Scope a theme to a single website or leave it global, and publish independently per site without affecting the others.
Password Strength & Show/Hide
A live strength meter on signup, a clearly placed show/hide toggle, and an optional copy-to-clipboard button keep the password field usable.
Submission Logging
Every login success, login failure, and signup is recorded with user, website, and IP — passwords are never stored.
Graph & Pivot Analytics
Break down submissions by event type and date in list, graph, and pivot views, right inside the Login Builder app.
How it works
Create a theme
Pick a preset or start custom, then set colors, fonts, logo, and background.
Add dynamic fields
Add and reorder custom fields for login, signup, or both, with validation.
Preview and publish
Check the live preview, then publish to apply the theme to your site.
Track results
Watch login and signup activity roll in through list, graph, and pivot views.
See it in action
From theme configuration to the live branded login page.
The Login Builder app lists every theme with its site scope, preset, and one-click publish toggle.
Configure branding and colors — logo, company name, tagline, and color pickers for text, background, and buttons.
Add and reorder dynamic fields per theme, choosing type, target (login, signup, or both), and validation.
A live preview tab renders the exact themed login card before anything goes live.
Every login and signup attempt is logged with event type, user, website, and IP address.
A graph view breaks down submissions by event type at a glance.
Pivot analytics let you slice submission data by event type and date.
The themed frontend login page shows the configured branding, colors, and dynamic fields to real visitors.
The signup page inherits the same theme, rendering custom signup fields alongside the branded design.
Frequently asked
Does this cover both the backend login and the website signup page?
Yes. The active theme is applied to the standard /web/login page and to the /web/signup page provided by Odoo’s signup feature, so both entry points share the same branding.
Can I use a different login theme for each website?
Yes. Scope a theme to a specific website or leave it global, and publish each theme independently — publishing one site’s theme does not affect another site’s or the global theme.
Do I need coding skills to customize the design?
No. Colors, fonts, logo, and background are all set through form fields and presets, with the result shown in a live preview. A custom CSS box is available for agencies that want pixel-level control, but it is optional.
What happens if no theme is published?
The login and signup pages render exactly like stock Odoo. The module never breaks the default flow — branding only appears once a theme is published.
