Every order's true weight from quote to invoice
Net, gross, tare and volume calculated automatically on Sale Orders, Purchase Orders, Deliveries and Invoices — with per-kilogram pricing, audited overrides, and alerts that catch missing or overloaded shipments before they go out the door.
Standard Odoo shows a weight field on the product form and a rough total on the delivery order, but nothing carries it cleanly through the quote-to-cash and procure-to-pay flow. Sales reps cannot see shipment weight while quoting, buyers cannot verify an inbound PO against the supplier's stated tonnage, and warehouse staff have no single place to compare ordered weight against what actually goes out the door — so teams re-key totals into spreadsheets, and the errors that creates cause under- or over-charged freight and overloaded vehicles.
All In One Weight Details adds net, gross, tare and volume to every line and every total on the Sale Order, Purchase Order, Delivery and Invoice, auto-filled from the product master and editable with a mandatory-reason audit trail. Missing-weight flags, load-limit alerts, and a cross-document reconciliation view catch problems before a shipment leaves — and per-kilogram pricing bills bulk commodities correctly from the start.
One module, the whole weight flow
Every capability below is implemented in the module.
Full-flow weight coverage
Weight and volume on the Sale Order, Purchase Order, Delivery and Invoice — not just one document, so nothing needs re-keying between apps.
Net, gross and tare weight
Per-line and per-document net, gross and tare (packaging) weight, kept distinct without renaming Odoo's own weight field.
Per-kilogram pricing
Mark a product as priced by weight and the line price is computed automatically from weight times your rate per kilogram — built for bulk commodities.
Audited manual overrides
Override a calculated weight with the actual scale reading and a required reason; every change is logged with who, when, and the previous value.
Missing-weight & load-limit alerts
A banner flags lines with zero or missing weight before a total understates a shipment, and warns the moment an order crosses your configured load limit.
Cross-document reconciliation
Compare ordered weight against what was actually delivered or received, with a variance percentage that flags supplier short- or over-shipments.
Dimensional (volumetric) weight
Calculates chargeable weight from volume alongside actual weight, so you know which figure a carrier will bill on.
Bulk catalog weight editor
Update weight, tare, volume and price-per-kilogram across many products at once instead of editing them one at a time.
Configurable column visibility
Show or hide weight and volume columns directly in the order view, grouped together instead of buried in a user preference.
How it works
Configure once
Set weight, tare, volume and, optionally, price-per-kilogram on the product master, plus a company load limit and variance tolerance.
Flows automatically
Every Sale Order, Purchase Order, Delivery and Invoice line picks up the product's weight and volume the moment it's added.
Review totals & alerts
Each document shows net/gross/volume totals, a missing-weight or load-limit alert, and value per kilogram — before you confirm or print.
Reconcile & audit
Compare ordered weight against delivered or received weight, and review a full audit trail of every manual override.
See it in action

Frequently asked
Which documents does this cover?
The product master, Sale Orders, Purchase Orders, Deliveries and Invoices — weight and volume flow through the whole quote-to-cash and procure-to-pay cycle, not just one document.
Does this replace the standard Odoo weight field?
No. It adds net, gross, tare and volume alongside the standard product weight field — nothing you already rely on is renamed or removed.
Can I see who changed a weight manually?
Yes. Every override requires a reason and is logged with the user, timestamp, and the previous value in the Weight Overrides audit log.
What happens if a product has no weight set?
The line and the order are flagged with a missing-weight alert, so a total is never silently understated before you ship, buy or invoice.
