Sales orders that process themselves end to end.
No-code workflow templates confirm, deliver, invoice, and collect payment on every sale order automatically — with conditional gating, scheduled runs, and a full execution log.
Confirming a sale order is only the first click. Someone still has to validate the delivery, create and post the invoice, register the payment, and send the confirmation email — order after order, day after day. High-volume sellers lose hours to this repetitive processing, orders sit untouched overnight, and errors creep in when it is done by hand.
Automated Sale Order Processing runs the whole order lifecycle for you. Build reusable no-code templates with business-language conditions, trigger them on events or a schedule, and watch confirm, deliver, invoice, and pay happen automatically — with a visible log and retry for anything that needs a second look.
Everything you need to automate the order cycle
Every capability below is implemented in the module.
End-to-End Workflow Automation
Confirm, deliver, invoice, post, register payment, and send the confirmation email in one automated run — no step left for someone to click manually.
No-Code Workflow Templates
Build named, reusable templates — VIP Fast-Track, Prepaid Retail, Wholesale on Account — through plain forms. No Python, no developer mode.
Conditional Gating
Restrict automation by payment status, VIP or tagged customers, and minimum/maximum order value — expressed as simple, business-language rules.
Event + Scheduled Triggers
Fire in real time on order create, confirm, or update — or run timezone-aware scheduled batch windows for off-hours processing.
One-Click Manual & Bulk Run
Run the workflow on a single order from its form, or select many orders from the list and bulk-run a template across all of them at once.
Execution Log with Retry
Every run is logged step by step with pass/fail detail and the failed step and error — and a one-click Retry button when a run needs a second attempt.
Native Sale Order Integration
A Run Automation button, an Automation Status bar, and an Automation smart button live directly on the standard sale order form — nothing to switch screens for.
Configurable Automation Settings
A master enable toggle, batch size, timezone-aware batch window hours, and a default template — all set from Sales Settings, no technical menus.
Automatic Confirmation Emails
Selectable mail templates dispatch confirmation emails automatically as a step in the workflow — no separate manual send.
How it works
Create a template
Define trigger, conditions, and steps — confirm, deliver, invoice, pay, email — in a no-code form.
Set the trigger
Choose event-driven automation or a timezone-aware scheduled batch window, or both.
Let it run
Matching orders confirm, deliver, invoice, and get paid automatically — or run it manually anytime.
Review & retry
Check the execution log for each step's result and retry any failed run in one click.
See it in action
From no-code template configuration to live execution logs and native sale order integration.
Workflow Templates list, showing every reusable, no-code automation template with its trigger, conditions, and steps at a glance.
A template's Triggers page — choose event-driven automation (create, confirm, write) and jump to its run history with the Runs smart button.
Conditional gating on the same template — restrict automation by payment status, VIP customers, order value range, and customer tags.
The Steps page defines exactly what runs: confirm, deliver, invoice, post, register payment, and email — each toggled on or off with no code.
Automation Logs list with color-coded success, partial, and failed runs, plus the failed step at a glance.
A partial-run log in detail — per-step result badges, the failed step and error detail, and a one-click Retry button.
The sale order form itself gains a Run Automation button, an Automation Status bar, and an Automation smart button linking to its run history.
Sales Settings adds an Automated Order Processing block — master enable toggle, batch size, batch window hours, and a default template.
Frequently asked
Does this require any Python or developer mode?
No. Every workflow template, trigger, and condition is configured through standard Odoo forms — no code and no developer mode required.
Can I restrict automation to only paid or VIP orders?
Yes. Each template supports conditional gating by payment status, VIP or tagged customers, and minimum/maximum order value.
What happens if a step fails?
The execution log records the failed step and its error detail, and you can retry the run with a single click from the log entry.
Can I run the workflow on demand instead of waiting for a trigger?
Yes. Use the Run Automation button on any sale order for a single run, or select multiple orders and bulk-run a template across all of them.
