Does this replace or duplicate my salary structures?
No. Allowances are granted per employee on top of your existing salary structure, so you keep one structure instead of creating a new one for every amount variation.
Can allowances be a percentage of wage instead of a fixed amount?
Yes. Each allowance type is configured as either a fixed amount or a percentage of the employee's wage, and the allowance record computes the subtotal automatically.
Are approvals included, or is that a separate purchase?
Approvals are built into the base app. Allowances above a configurable amount threshold automatically escalate to the manager group — there is nothing extra to buy.
Does this module require Odoo Enterprise Payroll?
No. It is built entirely on Community hr, so you get per-employee allowance management without an Enterprise payroll dependency.
