See every branch, clearly on one screen.
Branch-filtered Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, General Ledger and eight more financial reports for single-company, multi-branch organizations — consolidated, compared, and drilled down to the journal entry, without a second module to buy.
Finance teams running multiple branches under one Odoo company cannot see performance by location. Native accounting reports are company-wide only, so a branch close means exporting raw ledger data and rebuilding P&L, Balance Sheet and Trial Balance by hand in spreadsheets every month — slow, error-prone and impossible to audit.
Financial Reports For Branch tags every journal entry with a branch and generates ten report types — from Profit & Loss to Aged Receivable — in an interactive on-screen pivot with every branch as a column and a consolidated total. Drill any figure straight to its journal items, compare against budget or a prior period, and export to PDF or Excel when you are ready.
Everything a branch close needs
Every capability below is implemented in the module.
Ten branch-filtered reports
Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, Trial Balance, General Ledger, Partner Ledger, Aged Receivable/Payable, Executive Summary, Cash Flow and Tax by Branch — all generated from the native Odoo ledger.
Interactive in-app pivot
Every report opens as a live pivot with branches as columns and a consolidated Total column, so you validate figures on screen before ever exporting a file.
Drill-down to the journal
Click any report line to jump straight to the underlying journal item, closing the export-to-spreadsheet investigation loop.
Consolidated vs. per-branch
Switch between a single consolidated statement and a full per-branch breakout without re-running the report.
Budget vs. actual by branch
Enter budget lines per branch and account, and every line computes actual, variance and variance percentage automatically from posted moves.
Saved filter profiles
Save a report type, date range, branch set and currency as a named preset, such as Q4 Finance Review, and re-run it in one click.
Multi-currency consolidation
Choose a report currency and convert every balance with Odoo's native rate engine, using either the report date or each transaction's own historical rate.
Branch-level access control
Branch managers and users see only their assigned branches; head-office finance sees every branch — enforced by record rules on every report and every branch record.
Scheduled delivery & audit log
Recurring reports render to PDF and email themselves to stakeholders on a schedule, while every PDF and Excel export is logged with user, date and branch.
How it works
Tag your branches
Create branch records, assign a manager and users to each, then tag journal entries with a branch, or let the default branch apply automatically.
Run the report wizard
Pick a report type, date range and branch selection, then generate — per-branch, consolidated, or both.
Explore the pivot
Review results in an interactive pivot, drill into any figure down to the journal item, and compare against budget or a prior period.
Export or schedule
Export to PDF or Excel on demand, or set a recurring schedule that emails the report to stakeholders automatically.
See it in action
A look at branches, reports, budgets and the tools finance teams use every close.
Branches at a glance — New York, London, Singapore and Berlin, each with a manager, assigned users and a Journal Entries smart button.
Configure a branch: code, manager, assigned users and the physical location contact, all tracked in the chatter.
Every generated report is saved as an audit-trail record — report type, date range, currency and status at a glance.
A generated report's form: parameters on top, Generate, Print PDF, Export Excel and View Pivot actions, and a Lines tab with every row.
The interactive pivot — branches as columns, a consolidated Total column, and drill-down on every cell.
Switch the same data to a graph view to compare branch performance visually.
Branch budgets at a glance, with total budget, actual and variance per record.
Enter budget lines per account; actual, variance and variance percentage compute automatically from posted moves.
Saved filter profiles let you re-run a favorite report and branch selection in one click.
Scheduled reports render and email themselves to stakeholders on a recurring interval.
The report wizard: choose report type, date range, branches, currency and comparison mode in one form.
Frequently asked
Does this require Odoo Enterprise or the Accounting app?
No. It is built entirely on Odoo Community's native journal item ledger and only depends on the standard account module — no Enterprise accounting reports engine is required.
Does it turn each branch into a separate company?
No. Branches are a lightweight model inside a single company, so your chart of accounts, partners and products stay unified while every journal entry can still be tagged and reported by branch.
Can a branch manager see other branches' data?
No. Access is enforced with record rules: branch users only see the branches, reports and budgets tied to their own assignments; head-office finance can be granted the Manager group to see every branch.
Which report formats are supported?
Every report can be viewed on screen in an interactive pivot, printed to PDF, or exported to Excel; scheduled reports are delivered by email as a PDF attachment automatically.
