Certificate of Analysis & Quality Release is a self-contained batch/lot quality-release workflow with no Enterprise Quality app required: define versioned test specifications per product, record measurements against a Lot/Serial, get an instant pass/fail evaluation against spec limits, and combine test results into a release decision that either releases or quarantines the batch, with a printable Certificate of Analysis for every released lot.

Versioned quality specifications
quality.spec defines a reusable, versioned list of test parameters (assay, pH, moisture, impurity, potency) per product, each with minimum, maximum and target values plus a free-text unit, with only one active version per product/company enforced automatically.
Mandatory vs informational parameters
Each spec line can be flagged mandatory or informational-only: only mandatory parameters can block release, while optional ones are simply recorded for reference.
One-click parameter loading and measurement entry
action_load_parameters pulls in every parameter from the product's active spec onto a quality.test.result, ready for the measured value to be entered against each.

Combined release decision across multiple test results
quality.release combines one or more test results for the same batch (e.g. a chemical assay plus a microbiology assay) and evaluates them together: the batch is RELEASED only if every mandatory parameter in every attached result passed.
Automatic quarantine with failed-parameter list
If any mandatory parameter fails, the release is QUARANTINED with the exact list of failed parameters recorded on the decision, and the lot's Quality Status is updated automatically.
Quality status visible on the Lot/Serial form
stock.lot gains a Quality Status (Pending/Released/Quarantined) plus one-click shortcuts into its test results and release history directly from the lot form.
Certificate of Analysis PDF
action_print_coa and action_generate_coa_attachment print a Certificate of Analysis for any RELEASED batch, a test table of parameter, spec range, target, measured value and pass/fail, plus the release decision and the user who approved it, and can store the PDF as a permanent attachment.

Manual spec-vs-result comparison on a spreadsheet is slow and error-prone, and a release decision made without a documented audit trail does not hold up under a customer or regulatory review.
