This module adds voice recording capabilities directly to your standard Odoo chatter. It adds a simple microphone button to the message composer on any record. Staff can record and send audio messages to followers or log internal voice notes for their team without leaving the page they are working on. You do not need any outside software to make this work; it utilizes native processing to encode the audio and cleanly attach it to the message.
Purpose:
The main purpose of this tool is to save time and make communication faster. Typing out long updates, meeting summaries, or field notes can be tedious, especially when working on a mobile device. By unlocking voice notes in the regular chatter, users can quickly speak their updates, log their thoughts hands-free, and immediately move on to the next task.
