Setup Guide & Configuration
Follow these simple steps to hook your Chatwoot workspace into your Odoo 19 instance.
Step 1: Configure Chatwoot Credentials in Odoo
Go to Settings > General Settings > Chatwoot Settings. Fill in the following fields:
- Chatwoot Server URL: e.g.,
https://chatwoot.yourdomain.com - User Access Token: Paste your Chatwoot User Profile Access Token (found at the bottom of your Profile Settings in Chatwoot).
- Account ID: Enter the ID of your Chatwoot account (e.g.,
1).
Click the Test Connection button to check the API link. Odoo will display a success message showing your username.
Step 2: Add Webhook in Chatwoot Panel
To push chats to Odoo automatically, configure a webhook inside your Chatwoot instance:
- Go to Settings > Integrations > Webhooks and click Add New Webhook.
- Webhook URL: Input
https://your-odoo-domain.com/integrate/chatwoot - Selected Events: Enable
conversation_createdandmessage_created.
Step 3: Map Chatwoot Inboxes to CRM Sales Teams
Navigate to the new Chatwoot > Inboxes menu in Odoo and click **New**. Enter your Chatwoot Inbox ID and select the target **CRM Sales Team** and **Company** to automatically assign new leads to the correct reps.
