Odoo Cloud (SaaS)
Description
Turns the Odoo fleet into a GPS tracker: it registers location devices, stores their positions (latitude, longitude, speed, distance) and links them to each vehicle.
Ideal for companies that want to see the latest location of their units and keep the trip history right inside Odoo Fleet.
Key Features
- GPS devices — Register each tracker with its IMEI, ICC, phone and model, linked to the company.
- Position history — Stores every reading with date, coordinates, speed and distance traveled.
- Fleet integration — Adds the device, latest position, unit number and GPS image to the vehicle.
- Latest location per vehicle — Check the most recent position of every unit in the fleet.
- Company per device — Each device belongs to a company to operate in multi-company environments.
Installation & Setup
- Download and install the module from Settings → Apps → Third-party modules.
- Enable developer mode if you need advanced configuration.
- Go to Fleet → GPS Tracking to register your devices and link each one to its vehicle.
Usage Instructions
After installation, a GPS Tracking section appears under the Fleet menu. Register your devices (IMEI, ICC, phone, model) and capture or receive their positions with coordinates, speed and distance.
On each vehicle record you can assign its device, unit number and GPS image, and check its latest recorded location.
