Description
Optimizes the Point of Sale self-invoicing portal for business customers in Mexico: it prioritizes company data (legal name) over the individual name and prevents common errors when capturing tax data.
It also lets you force the correct accounting journal when invoicing from the portal, so the invoices generated by the customer are posted in the right journal.

- Company data first — Makes the legal (company) name required and the individual name optional in the portal form.
- Tax ID and company name validation — Only accepts valid characters in the tax ID (uppercase alphanumeric) and in the company name.
- Journal forced by context — Lets you invoice from the portal using the correct accounting journal.
- Fewer invoicing errors — Avoids the unknown-fields error when generating the invoice from the portal.
- Built for Mexico — Adapts the POS self-invoicing flow to Mexican tax requirements.
Installation & Setup
- Download and install the module from Settings → Apps → Third-party modules.
- Enable developer mode if you need advanced configuration.
- With POS and the portal configured, the customer can self-invoice prioritizing their company name and tax ID.
Usage Instructions
With Point of Sale and the portal active, the customer self-invoices their receipt. The form asks first for their company name and validates their tax ID.
When generating the invoice, the module uses the correct journal and avoids the typical field errors, producing an invoice ready to stamp.
