POS Minimum Order Amount By Customer
The POS Minimum Order Amount By Customer module allows businesses to enforce minimum order value rules in the Point of Sale based on customers. You can configure a minimum order amount and select specific customers for whom the rule should apply. If the order total does not meet the configured minimum amount, the cashier will receive a popup alert and cannot proceed to the payment screen until the condition is satisfied.

📝 Workflow
- Navigate to Settings → Point of Sale → POS Minimum Order Amount By Customer.
- Set the Minimum Order Amount and optionally select customers.
- Open the POS session and create an order.
- When the cashier clicks the Payment button:
- If the cart total is below the minimum amount, a popup alert appears.
- If the cart total meets or exceeds the minimum amount, the cashier proceeds to the payment screen.
- The rule works for selected customers, all customers, and anonymous POS orders depending on configuration.

Case 1: Rule Applied to Selected Customers
1. Configure Minimum Order Amount and Select Customers
Go to Settings → Point of Sale → POS Minimum Order Amount by Customer. Set the Minimum Order Amount and select the customers for whom the rule should apply.

The cart total amount is less than the minimum order amount configured for that customer.

When that customer clicks the Payment button, a popup alert will appear indicating that the minimum order amount is required.

The cart total amount is greater than or equal to the minimum order amount configured for that customer.
6. Payment Screen Access
When that customer clicks the Payment button, they will be successfully redirected to the Payment screen.
7. Non-Configured Customer
When a customer who is not selected in the backend POS minimum order amount rule is chosen, they will be successfully redirected to the Payment screen even if their cart total is less than the minimum order amount.

8. Configure Minimum Order Without Customers
Set the Minimum Order Amount and remove all customers.
9. Select Customer in POS
Select a customer.
10. Cart Total Below Minimum
The cart total amount is less than the configured minimum order amount.

When the customer clicks the Payment button, a popup alert will appear indicating that the minimum order amount is required before proceeding.
