POS Payment Method Restriction
The POS Payment Method Restriction module allows businesses to control the visibility of payment methods in the Odoo Point of Sale based on predefined business rules. Instead of displaying every available payment method, this module automatically hides payment methods that should not be available for a particular customer, product, cashier, country, order amount, date range, or weekday. This helps eliminate cashier mistakes, enforce company payment policies, simplify the payment process, and provide a cleaner POS interface by displaying only the payment methods that are applicable to the current order. The module integrates seamlessly with the Odoo Point of Sale and requires no additional configuration beyond setting up the desired restriction rules on each payment method.

📝 Workflow
- Navigate to Point of Sale → Configuration → Payment Methods.
- Open the payment method that you want to configure.
- Go to the Restriction Rules tab.
- Configure one or more restriction rules such as customer, product, cashier, country, order amount, date range, or weekdays.
- Save the payment method configuration.
- Open the Point of Sale.
- Create an order that matches one or more configured restriction rules.
- Proceed to the Payment Screen.
- The restricted payment method will be automatically hidden, ensuring only applicable payment methods are displayed to the cashier.
