Engagements with a monthly retainer allowance (fee + included hours), configurable rollover of unused hours (none / full / capped) and an automatic period-by-period burn-down schedule. Time capture priced at each consultant's charge-out rate, producing a live WIP balance, and a cost rate for true profitability. Milestone / fixed-fee schedules with percentage-of-completion revenue recognition (recognize only the delta since last period). WIP billing runs that turn unbilled time into a bill and let you write the value up or down, recording the realization rate on every run. Recurring retainer invoicing per period, with realization measured against the hours actually delivered. Over-servicing alerts the moment consumed hours pass the retainer allowance, logged on the engagement chatter. Profitability per engagement and per consultant (revenue, cost, margin, realization).
