Work Flow Of Model-Specific Locking
- User need to do basic access related configuration allowing particular user to have access to Allow Records to Lock or Unlock set as Standard.
- For it user need to navigate to Settings >> Users & Companies >> Users there user will see page named Access Rights under it there will be Allow Records to Lock or Unlock set as Standard.
- Further user with Allow Records to Lock or Unlock set as Standard will see a Configurations menu under Settings >> Technical.
- Now can create a new configuration record with a target model & 2 button showing record is active using Active toggle button & currently the targeted model is locked or not using Lock Applied toggle button.
- Further clicking on button Lock Records will lock the entire model that is set in Target Model & sets the Lock Applied toggle button True.
- When these operation is done it shows the notification followed by auto refresh the page.
- If user having the Standard rights goes to Target Model and try to operate the record, he will be able to do it having all the buttons & information as editable or active.
- Where the other side user without Standard access will not able to do any operation & in list view he will see lock icon.
Work Flow Of Record-Specific Locking
- User with Standard access when select the sale order record list view & go to action he will see Lock Records & Unlock Records actions which is only visible if that model records are locked.
- Further clicking on Unlock Records will unlock that selected records.
- Similarly click on Lock Records will lock that the specific records.
- Now the other user can access & operate that unlocked records.
