Mount a screen on the factory floor, in the sales office, or at the warehouse entrance and your team always knows where they stand. Dashboard Kiosk Display works with your existing Odoo dashboards — no duplication of effort, no separate content management. The dashboards you already maintain become your kiosk content. Real data, live from Odoo, visible at a glance.
How it works
Build your dashboards
Create dashboards in the Odoo Dashboards app and group them into a named section — your kiosk playlist.
Create a kiosk config
Go to Dashboards → Kiosk Displays. Select your dashboard section and set the cycle duration in seconds.
Copy the URL
Each kiosk configuration generates a unique URL. Copy it for use on your display device.
Go full screen
Open the URL in any browser on your display device, press F11, and the kiosk cycles immediately.
Key features
✓ Dashboard sections as playlists
Each kiosk uses one of your existing Odoo dashboard sections as its slide source. Manage content entirely from the standard Dashboards app — add or remove a dashboard from the section and the kiosk picks it up automatically.
✓ Live data on every cycle
Each dashboard is reloaded on every cycle. Charts, KPI tiles, pivot tables, and all other dashboard content display with live data from your Odoo database.
✓ Configurable cycle timer
Set how long each slide is displayed, in seconds. A progress bar at the bottom of the screen advances as the timer counts down, giving observers a visual cue of when the next slide is coming.
✓ Multiple kiosk configurations
Create as many kiosk configurations as you need — one per screen or location. Each has its own dashboard section, cycle timer, and unique URL.
✓ Clean full-screen display
The Odoo navigation chrome — menus, breadcrumbs, top bar — is hidden automatically. Only dashboard content is shown, maximising the available screen area.
✓ Simple browser-based deployment
Works in any modern browser. Point a dedicated device — including a Raspberry Pi — at the kiosk URL and the display runs indefinitely with no further interaction.

Security by design
The kiosk session runs under a standard Odoo user account and has exactly that user's access — no more. The recommended approach is a dedicated internal user restricted to the Dashboards app and the data intended for display. The display is read-only; there are no interactive controls.
Because the kiosk cycles continuously, Odoo sessions remain active without inactivity timeout. Session expiry only occurs if the display machine is switched off — standard Odoo behaviour.
Requirements

Community Edition users
Odoo 19.0 Community includes the Dashboards viewer but not the dashboard editor. To create and edit dashboards on Community Edition, the following free OCA modules are required:

Both modules are available from the OCA spreadsheet repository on GitHub. Enterprise Edition users already have the dashboard editor included and do not need these modules.
