Overview

The Portal Discuss, Chat & Meetings Hub module extends Odoo's collaboration capabilities to portal users, enabling seamless and secure communication directly within the Odoo portal.

Install module/application.

Once the module is installed, you can create or schedule meetings in Odoo and share the meeting link directly with clients or portal users, allowing them to join meetings and participate in discussions seamlessly through the Odoo portal.

Once a customer or portal user joins the meeting, any message sent or document shared during the meeting will instantly appear in the meeting chat. The same conversation and attachments are also synchronized and visible in the Discuss module within the Odoo backend for internal users.

Once a client or portal user logs in, they will see a dedicated Discussions section in the portal. From this section, users can view all their ongoing and past discussions, meeting conversations, shared messages, and related meeting records in one centralized place.

When a portal user clicks on any discussion or chat, they are redirected to that specific conversation where they can exchange messages and attachments without joining a meeting. Portal users can communicate in existing group or personal chats, but they cannot create new chats, channels, or invite additional members.

Great portal improvement module!
