Go to: Whiteboard → My Boards → Create or Open a Board → Start Drawing

Go to: Users → Enable whiteboard user / manager access

User Access - Users can create their own whiteboards, draw using the full tool set, and view boards shared with them by others. They can export boards as PNG but cannot change access permissions or manage folders.

Manager Access - Managers have full control over all boards in the system — they can create folders, assign boards, set access modes (Private, View, Edit, Public), add or remove user permissions, manage share links, and archive or clear any board.

Step 1 - My Boards - View all your whiteboards in a list. See board name, owner, shape count, last modified date, and open any board with one click.

Step 2 - Board Form - Configure the board name, assign it to a folder, set access mode (Private / Shared / Public) and toggle it active or archived.

Step 3 - Infinite Canvas - Click on open whiteboard. Draw freely using Pen, Rectangle, Ellipse, Line, Arrow or Text tools. Zoom and pan with mouse wheel or pinch gesture. Select and move shapes with ease.

Step 4 - Share with Users - Invite specific Odoo users to the board. Set each user as View only or Can edit. Track who invited them and the invitation date.

Step 5 - Public Link - Generate a tokenised public URL with one click. Share it with anyone — they can view or edit the board in the portal without an Odoo login. Revoke the link anytime.

Drawing Tools

Full drawing suite: Pen (smooth curves), Rectangle, Ellipse, Line, Arrow with arrowhead, Text (Caveat font), and Eraser.

Zoom & Pan

Mouse-wheel zoom (0.1× – 8×), pinch-to-zoom on touch, middle-click or Hand tool to pan. Zoom-to-fit all shapes at once.

Color & Stroke

10 preset colors plus custom color picker. Four stroke widths. Seven font sizes (12–64). All controls visible in the sidebar.

Security & Access Rules

User and Manager roles with record-level rules. Owners have full access; shared users get view or edit rights; managers see all boards.

Infinite Whiteboard includes a full drawing suite: freehand Pen with smooth curve rendering, Rectangle, Ellipse, Line, Arrow, Text (Caveat handwritten font), and Eraser. All tools work on an infinite zoomable canvas.

Each board has three access modes: Private (owner only), Shared (invite specific users as view-only or editor), and Public link (tokenised URL). Public links open the board in a portal page — no Odoo login required for viewing.

Yes. Authenticated users who have been granted edit access can draw directly in the portal page using the same toolbar. View-only visitors and unauthenticated users see the board in read-only mode.
