Dashboard Manager
Overview
Dashboard Manager is a visual dashboard builder for Odoo 19. It lets business users create interactive dashboards with charts, KPIs, lists, pivot tables, text blocks, iframes, and optional SQL widgets — without custom development.
Installation
- Copy the dashboard_manager folder into your Odoo addons path.
- Update the apps list and install Dashboard Manager.
- Open Dashboards → My Dashboards.
Quick start
- Create a dashboard record and click Open Dashboard.
- Click Add Widget and choose a widget type.
- Configure the data source (model, fields, domain).
- Use Edit Layout to drag and resize widgets, then Save Layout.
- Optionally enable Global Filtering or Generative Dashboard on the form view.
Global filters
Enable global filters on the dashboard form, define filter fields (model + field + type), and optionally create presets with domain rules. End users apply filters from the filter button on the dashboard canvas.
Generative dashboards
Enable Is Generative Dashboard, configure a pattern (time-based, category-based, or template duplication), select a template widget, and run Generate Widgets Now.
Export and import
Use Export/Import on the dashboard canvas to download or upload JSON configuration files. Useful for staging-to-production migrations.
