How It Works
1. Create a profile
Name it after a role, for example “Warehouse Clerk”, and list what that role must not reach.
2. Assign users
Add every user who holds that role. Add a per-user line when one person needs something stricter.
3. Simulate and go live
Open the simulator to see the exact list of restrictions a user will hit, then let it run.

Menus & Sub-Menus
Hide any menu, with or without everything underneath it. A menu whose action you restricted disappears on its own.
Model Access Rights
Take away read, write, create or delete on any model, on top of the standard access control lists.
Field Access Rights
Four levels per field: hide it completely, make it invisible on screen only, freeze it as read-only, or force it to be filled in.
Record Restrictions
Limit which records a user reaches with a domain. Choose hard enforcement, which hides them everywhere, or soft, which only pre-filters the lists.
Buttons & Notebook Tabs
Remove or freeze any button or tab, found by its technical name or simply by the label your users read.
Conditional Access
Attach a condition to a field, a button or a tab, so it is only restricted on the records that match — for example once an order is confirmed.
Search Experience
Hide search filters, group-by options, the search panel and saved favourites, so users stay inside the view you designed.
Chatter Control
Remove the whole chatter, or just the Send Message, Log Note, Activities, Followers or Attachments parts, model by model.
Views & View Types
Block a specific view or an entire view type, so a model can be list-only for one team and fully browsable for another.
Reports & Actions
Restrict reports, window actions and server actions. They vanish from the Print and Action menus and refuse to run if called directly.
Read-Only Users
One switch turns an account into a pure viewer: no create, no edit, no delete, no import, anywhere.
Import, Export & Duplicate
Hide Import, Export, Duplicate, Archive, Create and Delete, and limit exports to the fields a user may actually read.
Developer Mode & Login
Keep developer mode switched off for chosen users, hide the access rights configuration, and disable an account’s login without archiving it.
Relational Fields
Remove the internal link that jumps to the related record, and switch off Create and Create & Edit in the dropdowns.
Company Wise Rules
Every restriction can be limited to selected companies, so the same person can be restricted in one branch and free in another.
Scope Any Switch
Every switch can be narrowed to one model, one view type, or both. Let a user export the stock report while blocking payroll — enforced on the server, so the direct URL is blocked too.
Groups & Automatic Assignment
Assign a profile to a whole team through their groups, and to accounts created from now on, so a new hire is never briefly unrestricted.
Staging to Production
Move profiles between databases as a JSON file. References travel by external identifier and by technical name, and anything that cannot be matched is reported rather than silently dropped.
Simulator & Safety Switch
Preview every restriction a user will hit before going live, and keep a documented kill switch so an administrator can never be locked out.
