Per-company approval policy with a monetary threshold (Wertgrenze) and an optional rule that a checker must be different from the maker (Funktions- trennung / segregation of duties). Approval-rule matrix by journal, amount band and required approval level (single / dual sign-off). Every manual journal entry above the threshold is blocked from posting until an authorised checker approves it; the request carries a full audit trail (who, when, comment) on the chatter. A reviewer cockpit listing all entries awaiting approval, with one-click approve / reject and a rejection reason that is written back to the move. Delegation of approval authority for absences (Vertretung) with start/end dates so the control is never silently bypassed. Audit log model recording each decision for the GoBD-relevant control evidence the auditor expects.
