Teilurlaub / pro-rata (§5 BUrlG): pro-rata entitlement on entry, exit in the first half of the year, and partial years. Rounding of half-days up (§5 Abs. 2). Zusatzurlaub Schwerbehinderte (§208 SGB IX): +5 additional working days per year for severely disabled employees (GdB ≥ 50), itself pro-rated. Übertragung / Verfall (§7 Abs. 3 BUrlG): carry-over into the next year only with urgent operational or personal grounds, expiring on 31 March; the engine tracks the carry-over deadline and flags forfeiture (Verfall).
