Frequently asked

Yes — Odoo's carrier_tracking_ref field works for FedEx / DHL parcels, but it's a single string. The Builty workflow needs four distinct fields: number, date, vehicle, transport company. Each is reportable on its own.

Effectively yes — regional names for the same document: a numbered consignment note issued by the transport company against a road shipment. The Builty field accepts whatever format your local document uses.

Yes. The four fields are standard Odoo fields on stock.picking, so they're available to any QWeb report. We can add them to the delivery slip on request, or you can do it with a small report inheritance.

Yes. The Transfers list view supports group-by Transporter out of the box. Vehicle Number is filterable / searchable. For deeper analysis, build a standard Odoo pivot.

The fields use the _at namespace, so column names won't clash with native Odoo or other vendors. If you already have a Builty / LR field from an internal customisation, install on a staging copy first and migrate the values.

Yes. Standard Odoo company isolation applies. Each company sees the transporter contacts and pickings it owns. The transporter dropdown respects the active company.

The four fields disappear from the picking form and the contact flag is removed. Past Builty data is dropped along with the columns — export it first if you want to keep it.

No, by design. Different transporters can issue the same number on the same day — the uniqueness in real life is the (transporter, number) pair. We can add stricter validation on request.

It's the smallest paid price band on the App Store. Free modules don't carry support; paid ones do. The 90-day refund window means buying it costs roughly the same as installing a free module that doesn't quite fit.

No. Per Odoo's policy, third-party paid apps cannot be installed on Odoo Online. This module runs on Odoo.sh and on-premise (self-hosted Community or Enterprise) deployments.
