Installation
- To install the module you need to go to the Apps menu and remove the filter from the search bar and type the module name delivery_fleet_map and click on the Active button.
Customer Address Details
- The customer address is displayed in the Delivery Mapping View for each delivery order. The address is taken from the related customer (Partner) record.
- To show the exact location on the map, the system automatically generates geolocation coordinates (latitude and longitude) based on the customer address stored in the Partner record. These coordinates are used to place the marker accurately on the map.
Fleet And Driver Assignment
- In the Odoo Fleet Management module, a new fleet vehicle record can be created and a specific driver can be assigned to that vehicle.
- The assigned driver information is linked to the delivery order and displayed in the Delivery Mapping View. This allows users to see which driver and vehicle are responsible for each delivery directly on the map.
Delivery Details
- When a Sales order is created and confirmed, the system automatically generates a Delivery Order in the Inventory module.
- In the Delivery Order, the user selects the vehicle number . Each vehicle is linked to a specific driver in the Fleet Management module. Based on the selected vehicle, the corresponding driver is automatically updated in the Delivery Order.
- This automation ensures that the correct driver is assigned without manual entry and allows both vehicle and driver details to be displayed in the Delivery Mapping View.

- When a Delivery Order is clicked in the Map View, the Customer Name, Sales Order Number, Address and Delivery Order Number are displayed

When an Odoo Sales Order is created and confirmed, the system automatically generates a Delivery Order and directly creates the delivery order from the Inventory module.
In the Delivery Order, the vehicle number field is where the vehicles are populated from the fleet master.
Each vehicle in the Fleet module is linked to a specific driver. When a vehicle is selected in the Delivery Order, the corresponding driver is automatically populated.
The customer address is retrieved from the related customer (Partner) record.
The system uses the latitude and longitude generated from the customer address in the Partner record to place the marker accurately on the map.
The map displays:
- Delivery Order Number
- Customer Name
- Customer Address
- Source Document
Yes. Users can apply filters to view deliveries based on specific drivers or vehicles.
The geolocation coordinates are regenerated automatically, and the marker position is updated accordingly.
