Getting Started — You'll Be Up in 10 Minutes

  1. Install Python dependencies pip install requests zeep xmltodict
  2. Copy the module folder to your custom-addons path Make sure the folder is named delivery_multi_carrier_v2
  3. Restart your Odoo server So Odoo picks up the new module
  4. Go to Apps → Update Apps List Then search for "Multi Carrier Shipping" and install
  5. Navigate to Inventory → Multi-Carrier Shipping → Settings You'll see all 8 carriers ready to configure
  6. Enter your API credentials for your first carrier We recommend starting with Bosta (Egypt) or Aramex (Middle East) — simplest setup
  7. Click "Test Connection" — you should see a green success message If not, double-check your API key and try Sandbox mode first
  8. Create a test delivery order and send it in Sandbox mode Make sure the tracking number appears and the label downloads
  9. Register the Webhook URL in your carrier's dashboard Status updates will now flow in automatically
  10. Switch to Production and start shipping! 🎉 You've earned it

Always test in Sandbox first. Every carrier provides a free sandbox environment with the same URLs. Real shipments cost real money. Take 15 minutes to test — it's worth it.

Using Ngrok for local testing? If your Odoo instance is running locally, use ngrok http 8069 to expose it over HTTPS so carrier webhooks can reach your machine during development.
