Customer Portal Order
Customer Portal Order Odoo App turns the customer portal into a self-service ordering desk. After signing in, the customer sees a Request Order tile in My Account, opens a clean form, picks their shipping and invoice address, sets a date, and starts adding the products they need.
Each line accepts a barcode or a product name, the matching product is picked automatically, and a small image of the item appears next to the line so the customer is sure they chose the right one. They can add as many lines as they need, remove any line they changed their mind about, and write a note for delivery or any special request.
One Submit creates a fresh Quotation Sent in the back office and shows the customer a thank-you page with a direct link to review the new quotation. It suits B2B suppliers, distributors, and any service business that wants regular customers to raise orders without phoning the sales team.
Features
Request Order Tile In My Account
Logged-in customers see a new Request Order tile on their portal home, sitting alongside Your Orders and Your Invoices, so the entry point is easy to find.
Self-Service Quotation Form
A clean portal form lets the customer set the date, pick a shipping and an invoice address from their stored contacts, and write a note for special requests.
Add Or Remove Product Lines
Customers can add as many product lines as they need on a single request and remove any line they changed their mind about, all before they submit.
Barcode And Name Lookup
Typing a barcode or part of a product name on a line filters the dropdown to the matching item and selects it, so customers add products quickly.
Auto Product Thumbnails
As soon as a product is chosen on a line, a small image of the item appears next to it, so the customer can visually confirm before sending.
Submit Creates A Quotation
Submitting the form posts a Quotation Sent record in the back office with all the lines, addresses, date, and note, plus a link the customer can open to review it.
Saleable Products List
The portal Request Order page draws from the standard products list, so any product set up here can be requested by a customer once it is marked as saleable.
Sales Checkbox Decides Visibility
Only products with the Sales checkbox ticked on the product form are offered to customers in the portal Request Order page, so unfinished or internal items stay hidden.
Grant Portal Access To Customer
From the customer's action menu, choosing Grant portal access turns them into a portal user, so they can sign in and start using the Request Order page.
Send Portal Invitation
The Portal Access Management dialog lists the contact and email; clicking Grant Access sends the invitation, after which the customer can log in to the portal.
Request Order Tile In My Account
Signed-in customers see a new Request Order tile on their My Account page; clicking it opens the dedicated order request form.
Order Request Form
The new portal page asks for a date, a shipping address, an invoice address, and a Product Detail block with barcode-or-name lookup, plus a note and an Add Product button.
Add Multiple Lines And Submit
The customer can add several product lines (each row shows the product image, barcode, name, and quantity), remove any line, write a note such as "Please very Fast Delivery", and click Submit.
Confirmation With Order Link
A thank-you page confirms the request and shows the new sale order reference as a clickable link, so the customer can jump straight to the quotation without searching.
Quotation Opens From The Link
Clicking the link opens the customer-facing quotation page with line items, invoicing and shipping address, totals, payment terms, and the standard Sign and Pay buttons.
Sales Order In The Back Office
The submission lands as a Quotation Sent record with all the lines, quantities, addresses, and the customer's note already filled in, ready for the sales team to confirm.
Open Quotations Highlighted
The portal home flags how many quotations the customer has waiting to review, so they can return to a sent quotation in one click without searching for it.
Customer Quotations List
Every request the customer has raised is listed in their portal with the quotation number, date, validity, and total, so they can open any of them.
Quotation Detail View
Each quotation opens into a full detail page on the portal with the lines, totals, terms, payment options, and a communication history thread between the customer and the company.
