This Odoo application provides a complete Mobile Repair Management solution, covering online appointment booking, repair operations, warranty handling, reporting, and configuration from a single platform. It helps repair businesses streamline daily operations, improve customer experience, and maintain full control over repairs, technicians, and performance insights. Customers can book repair appointments online by selecting a service, time zone, date, and time slot. On the backend, admins can configure service availability, slot duration, buffer time, working hours, generate slots, and manage all booked appointments. The Repair Dashboard gives a real-time overview of daily repair activity, repair pipeline status, technician workload, warranty repairs, and revenue insights, enabling quick decision-making. The Repair Order Workflow manages the entire lifecycle—from appointment to device delivery. Repair orders can be created from website appointments or directly from the backend. The system supports IMEI validation, auto technician assignment, diagnosis, parts replacement, service costing, quality checks, repair tracking via URL/QR code, automatic device registry creation, and detailed device logs. The Warranty Workflow automatically creates a warranty when a repair is delivered. Warranties and claims are linked via smart buttons, making it easy to raise and track warranty claims from dedicated menus. The Reports section provides repair analysis, technician commission reports, and printable documents such as repair orders, device intake receipts, repair estimates, and completion certificates. The Configuration menu allows full control over workflows, approvals, checklists, validation rules, warranties, communication settings, technician assignment, and master data like mobile brands, service types, fault codes, and checklist templates.

    Browse available services, select one, and book an appointment by choosing your time zone, date, and time slot. Enter your basic details to confirm the booking and view the success (Thank You) page once completed. From the backend, manage services by setting availability, slot duration, buffer time, and working hours, generate slots, and view all booked appointments.

Online Appointment Booking for Mobile Repair

Browse available services, select one, and book an appointment by choosing your time zone, date, and time slot. Enter your basic details to confirm the booking and view the success (Thank You) page once completed. From the backend, manage services by setting availability, slot duration, buffer time, and working hours, generate slots, and view all booked appointments.

You can view all available services here. Choose the service you want and click “Book Now” to continue.

View service details, select your time zone, choose an appointment date, and pick an available time slot the system automatically adjusts slots and redirects you to the next page after selection.

View the service details (name, appointment type, date, time slot, and time zone), then enter your basic information and click “Book Appointment” to confirm the booking.

From here, you can see whether your appointment has been successfully booked, and the Thank You page will be displayed.

In the backend, set available days, slot duration, buffer time, and working hours, enable “Is Published” if the service is active, then click “Generate Slots” to create appointment slots.

From here, you can view the list of all appointments.

You can view all appointments booked from the website here along with their basic details. Click the “Create Repair Order” button to generate a repair order.

Mobile Repair Portal

From My Account → Repairing, users can view all their mobile repair orders and open any order to see its detailed information in form view.

Main Features:

  • View complete list of personal repair orders
  • Access detailed repair information from a single screen

Go to My Account and click on the Repairing menu to view your mobile repair details.

Repair Order Workflow

You can view all website-booked appointments with their basic details here and generate a repair order by clicking the “Create Repair Order” button.

You can also go to Repair → All Repairs to create a mobile repair order, and from there you can view the complete list of mobile repairs.

If IMEI Validation is enabled from Configuration → Settings, the system will display a validation error when the IMEI number is less than 15 digits.

If Auto-Assign Technician is enabled in Configuration → Settings, the technician will be automatically assigned when the appointment is confirmed.

After identifying the issue, add the detected fault in the Diagnosis tab and fill in all the required details.

After diagnosis, add the working and non-working parts. Remove the faulty part (e.g., the old speaker) and add the new replaced part in the Parts tab.

From here, you can add repair notes using the Repair Notes tab.

In the Service tab, select the Service Required product to auto-calculate the estimated duration and cost, then click Start Repair to begin the repair.

From here, you can see that the repair has moved to the Under Repair state. Click the Quality Check button to proceed. Users can track their mobile repair status by clicking the Tracking URL or scanning the QR code from the Tracking tab.

When you click the URL, it opens in a new browser tab where you can view the repair tracking page along with basic repair details.

From here, you can see the Quality Check status highlighted in red. Click the Mark Ready button, and once the Quality Check is completed, all checklist items will automatically appear in the Checklist tab.

If the checklist is not completed, a warning message will be displayed asking you to complete the checklist before proceeding.

Click the Deliver Device button to complete the repair.

You can see that all smart buttons in the repair form are linked to the mobile device, allowing easy navigation between related records.

Click the Receive Device button—once the device is received, a record is automatically created in the Device Registry.

From here, you can also view the complete list of Device Logs.

Warranty Workflow

When a mobile repair order is delivered, the system automatically creates a warranty and links it to the repair order via a smart button. From the warranty menu, you can view the complete list of created warranties and their details. If the device comes back for repair under warranty, a warranty claim can be raised from the Claim tab or directly from the Claim menu, and it will be automatically linked to the warranty.

After the warranty is created, you can raise a warranty claim for future repairs. Claims can be added from the Claim tab (auto-linked via the smart button) or created directly from the Claim menu.

Reports

From this section, you can access all repair-related reports and documents. Use the Reporting menu to analyze repair orders and technician commissions, and the Mobile Repair → Action → Print option to view or print various repair documents. You can also directly access repair orders, device intake receipts, repair estimates, and completion certificates from here.

Configuration

This configuration section lets you manage the entire mobile repair setup from one place. You can control workflows, approvals, checklists, validation rules, warranties, communication settings, and technician assignments, ensuring a smooth and standardized repair process. From here, you can also manage master data such as mobile brands, service types, fault codes, and checklist templates, and view checklist templates in detailed form view.

This configuration screen allows you to control the complete mobile repair workflow from one place, including job creation, approvals, checklists, validation, warranty, communication, and technician assignment. You can enable automation like auto-creating job cards, sending SMS/emails, assigning technicians, and calculating commissions. It also helps standardize repairs by enforcing intake/checkout checklists, IMEI validation, warranty rules, and appointment defaults for smooth operations.
