Configure Note Categories & Predefined Notes

Navigate to Point of Sale > Configuration > Note Categories to define types (Allergy, Preparation, etc.) and assign colors. Then, create Predefined Notes and link them to these categories.

Enable Note Features in POS Settings

In POS Configuration, enable Quick Note Buttons and select which notes should be available as quick taps. Configure Receipt Options to show internal or general notes on the final printout.

Use categorized Notes in live POS

Open a POS session and select a product. Add notes using Quick Buttons or the Internal Note popup. Allergy notes will automatically display a prominent red badge for instant recognition.

Access General Order Notes

Easily add notes to the entire order by clicking the Actions button in the POS terminal. This opens a menu where you can select General Note to provide overall instructions for the order.

View Notes on Order Receipt

Once the order is finalized, the Internal Note and General Note are clearly printed on the customer receipt, ensuring all instructions are communicated effectively.
