Catalog List View for Sale & Purchase in Odoo

Catalog List View for Sale & Purchase Odoo App gives your sales and purchasing teams a faster way to build orders from the product catalog. The standard Odoo catalog opens as cards, which is fine for a few products but slow to scan once an order runs to dozens of lines. This app adds a dense, spreadsheet-style list to that same catalog, so you can find products, set quantities, and check prices in one compact, scrollable table.

From any sale order or purchase order, open the catalog and work straight down the list: change quantities with plus and minus buttons or by typing, add or remove a product in a click, and read the correct price on every row. Everything the standard catalog already respects stays in place, including pricelists, vendor prices, units of measure, and packaging. You can switch back to the card view whenever you like, and pick which layout opens by default. It suits any team that keys in long orders and wants to spend less time clicking.

1. Configure Default Catalog View

Go to Settings > Sale/Purchase Catalog. Under the Catalog Display block, select the default layout (List View or Kanban View) that will open automatically when launching the Product Catalog.

2. Access Product Catalog from Order

Open any Sale Order or Purchase Order. In the order lines section, click the native "Catalog" button to load the products search and selection screen.

3. Manage Quantities in the List View

Use the dense, spreadsheet-like List View layout to review prices and update quantities rapidly. You can switch between List and Kanban views at any time using the layout switcher in the top-right corner.
