Tour and Travel Management in Odoo
Tour and Travel Management Odoo App runs end-to-end tour
and travel operations inside Odoo. Build a tour package with
day-by-day itinerary, hotels, rooms, meals, transport, attractions,
inclusions, exclusions, cancellation policy and terms, then load
the same details into a customer booking with one click.
Customers come in either as an inquiry from your back-office team
or as a quote request through your website. Each lead converts to
a booking with full package details, hotels per night, extra
services, transport, flights, ferries, insurance and customs.
Move the booking through Draft → Negotiation → Confirmed →
Traveling → Done on a workflow ribbon, send the booking PDF by
email, generate the customer invoice, and bill the assigned travel
agent's commission, all from one record.
A dedicated dashboard tracks happy customers, package counts,
lead and opportunity counts, invoice paid versus due, and revenue
trends. Mass action wizards let operators tag many bookings at
once or export bookings to spreadsheet. A built-in rating mail
captures customer feedback after the trip. On the website side, a
public package catalogue lets visitors filter by domestic or
international type and submit an inquiry directly. Perfect for
travel agencies, holiday planners, tour operators and DMC
businesses.

Inquiry to Booking Workflow
Every customer enquiry lands in the CRM pipeline, converts to a booking with a single click, then walks through Draft → Negotiation → Confirmed → Traveling → Done. From the same record you load package details, send the booking PDF by mail, create the customer invoice, cancel, apply tags in bulk, export to Excel and send the post-trip rating request.
1. Capture the Inquiry
Inquiry Menu
A dedicated Inquiry menu lists every lead with customer, email, city, country, salesperson and sales team, the same pipeline your sales team already works in.
Lead with Tour Section
Each lead record adds a Tour section underneath the standard CRM details (location, adults, child count, dates) and a Create Booking button.
Booking Smart Button
Once the booking is created, a Booking smart button on the lead opens the linked booking record, so every inquiry stays traceable back to its source.
Inquiry Detail (Older View)
A focused view of the inquiry form with package, adult, child and travel date fields ready to convert into a booking.
Inquiry Pipeline & Conversion
Convert an inquiry into an opportunity, qualify it, then push it into a booking. The existing CRM stages stay available alongside the tour section.
All Opportunities
An opportunity board surfaces which package is generating the most interest, useful for choosing what to feature on the website next.
2. Build the Booking
Booking Kanban Board
The Tour → Booking menu opens a kanban showing every booking with reference, package, total days and nights, price, booking date and start/end dates.
Booking Form with All Sections
The booking record bundles everything operations needs: itinerary, hotels per night, extra services in hotel, day-wise transportation, local transport, flight, ferry, insurance, inclusion/exclusion, terms and an images gallery.
Stage-Filtered Booking List
Group the booking list by stage so the team sees in one glance how many bookings are Draft, Confirmed, Traveling or Done.
Load Package Details
Click Load Package Details and the entire itinerary, hotels, transport and inclusions copy from the chosen package onto the booking in one shot.
3. Walk the Workflow
Draft → Negotiation
A new booking starts in Draft with Send by Email, Load Package Details, Negotiation, Confirm and Cancel buttons ready on the workflow ribbon.
Negotiation → Confirmed
During Negotiation, adjust price, markup, discount, agent commission and dates, then click Confirm to lock the booking and free finance to invoice.
Confirmed → Traveling
Once the trip begins, the Traveling button moves the booking into the active state so ops can focus on what's currently on the road.
Traveling → Create Invoice
In the Traveling stage, the Create Invoice button generates the customer invoice from the booking with the configured booking product and final amount.
Done with Invoice Smart Button
When the booking is Done, an Invoice smart button at the top opens the linked invoice, with no need to hunt through Accounting to find it.
4. Invoice & Settings
Configure Booking Product
Pick the product used on the customer invoice and another product used on the agent commission bill from the Tour and Travel settings page.
Generated Customer Invoice
The invoice opens pre-filled with the customer, the booking reference and the booking line so it is ready to post.
5. Cancel a Booking
Booking List (Unfiltered)
Every booking shows in the default list view with stage, package, customer and dates, with no filter applied yet.
Cancel a Booking
Click Cancel to drop a booking into the Cancelled stage at any point in the workflow.
Cancelled Removed from Default View
Cancelled bookings drop out of the active list automatically so ops only see what they actually need to act on.
Cancelled Filter
Apply a stage filter to bring cancelled bookings back into view when needed for audit or refund processing.
6. Mass Tag & Export Wizards
Select Multiple Bookings
Tick several bookings in the list and pick a configuration action from the action menu, with no need to open each record.
Apply Tags in Bulk
Choose one or more tags in the wizard and apply them to every selected booking with one click.
Tags Reflected on List

Export Wizard
Confirm the export and the wizard generates an Excel file with every chosen booking and its key fields.
Exported File Preview
The downloaded export opens in Excel with rows for each booking, ready to share with management or external partners.
Tour Package Catalogue
Build every tour package once, with day-wise itinerary, hotel and room per stay night, breakfast/lunch/dinner options, day-wise transport and cabs, attractions, inclusions, exclusions, cancellation policy and terms. Every booking later reuses the package with one Load Days click, so packages stay the single source of truth for the tour product.
Package Kanban
The Package menu opens a kanban with every published tour, showing name, location, total days and nights, ready to clone or edit.
All Packages (Older View)
A simpler list view of every package, useful when filtering by location or season.

Package Images Gallery

Terms & Conditions
Tag each package with the right Terms and Conditions block. The block prints on the booking PDF and shows on the website.
Other Information
An Other Information tab keeps notes the sales team can refer to but the customer never sees, useful for internal pricing or vendor notes.
Hotels & Rooms
Maintain hotels and rooms as proper master records, not free text. Each hotel carries star rating, address, check-in/check-out times, nearest places, a photo gallery, room inventory and on-site facilities, and packages and bookings pick from this catalogue per night.
Hotel List
The Accommodation → Hotel menu lists every hotel with name, star rating, mobile and email, sortable and filterable.
Hotel Detail
The hotel record holds star rating, address, check-in / check-out times, mobile, email, nearest places and a master photo plus Photos/Rooms/Facilities tabs.
Hotel Photo Gallery
Upload multiple property photos on the Photos tab. They surface on the public website and on the booking PDF.

Room Catalogue
Accommodation → Room shows every room across all hotels with hotel, room type, bed count and size in a single list.
Contacts & Travel Agents
The Contacts menu separates customers, agents and agent commissions so the team always works on the right list. Travel agents are real records with their own commission settings, so when a booking closes, a commission bill can be generated for the agent in one click.
Customer Directory
Contacts → Customer opens a kanban of all travel customers with photo, role tags and contact details, the same data sales already curates.
Travel Agents
Contacts → Agent shows your roster of travel agents. Each card opens to a contact form ready to be picked on a booking's Agent field.
Booking PDF, Email & Rating
A multi-page Booking PDF prints itinerary, hotels, transport, flights, ferries, insurance and pricing on one document, with a customisable header. From the same booking, send the PDF by mail, then trigger a Rating Mail after the trip to capture star feedback and free-text comments.
Print Booking PDF
Print Booking Package generates a multi-page PDF with the cover, itinerary, hotels, transport, flights, ferries, insurance and totals.
Send by Email
Click Send by Email on the booking and an email composer opens with the PDF attached and a pre-filled body, so it is fewer clicks before the customer reads it.
Rating Mail
After the trip, send a Rating Mail with a clickable scale. The customer's response and review come back onto the booking record.
Public Website Pages
A built-in package portal on your website lets visitors browse every published tour, filter by Domestic or International, open a detail page with images, itinerary, hotels and price, then submit a quote request. The request lands as a lead in your back office.
Tour Packages Page

Filter by Type & Package

Lead Created in Back Office
The same submission lands in the Inquiry list, ready for the team to pick up and qualify.

Purpose of Visit
