Website Customer Contact Odoo App gives your portal customers a self-service contact book. From their own account on the website, a customer can add new people and addresses — a secondary buyer, an accounts contact, a shipping address, a private address — without having to email your sales team or wait for someone in the back office to type it in.

A new Contact tile appears on the customer's My Account page with a count of how many contacts they have on file. From there they can browse the list, open any contact to see the full details, edit the basic fields when something changes, and add new contacts using a guided form that captures Type, Title, Job Position, Email, Phone, Mobile and Notes.

Every contact created on the website is linked to the customer automatically and shows up as a child contact inside the back-office Contacts app — so your sales, finance and shipping teams see the same address book the customer maintains. Useful for B2B businesses whose clients regularly add new staff, billing contacts or delivery sites and want to manage that list themselves.

  • Inline Edit Popup: An Edit button opens a popup where the customer updates the basics — name, job position, email and phone — and saves in one click.
  • Auto-Link to Customer Record: Every contact added from the website appears as a child contact on the customer's back-office record, ready for sales and finance to use.

Inside the back-office Contacts app, the customer Mitchell Admin / YourCompany has an empty Contacts & Addresses tab — the starting point before any portal entry is made.

Contact Request Link in the User Menu

Once logged in to the website, the customer opens the user dropdown next to their name and finds a new Contact Request shortcut between My Account and Logout.

Fill the Contact Form and Submit

The Contact Address form lets the customer pick a Type (here Shipping address) and capture Contact Name, Title, Job Position, Email, Phone, Mobile and Notes — then a single Submit button creates the entry.

Contact Tile on My Account

The customer's My Account page now shows a new Contact tile alongside Sales Orders, Invoices and Addresses — the gateway to their saved contacts list.

Browse All Saved Contacts

Clicking the tile opens the Contact list with each entry's name, phone, email and category, a Sort By control, and an Add Contact button to add more whenever needed.

Read-Only Contact Detail Page

Opening a contact shows a clean Contact Information summary with Name, Title, Job Position, Email, Phone, Mobile and Notes — plus an Edit button when something needs to change.

Edit Basic Details in a Popup

The Edit button opens an Edit Customer Contact popup pre-filled with Name, Job Position, Email and Phone — change what you need and hit Save without leaving the page.

Linked Automatically to the Back Office

Back in the Contacts app, the customer's record now shows both portal-created contacts — Anita Oliver and Marc demo — under Contacts & Addresses, with their job, email, phone and mobile ready for the team to use.
