Key Features
Dimension-Based Configurator
Reuses Odoo’s standard “Configure Your Product” dialog with extra inputs: Quantity, Length, Width, Vertical / Horizontal lines. The salesperson never has to pre-create variants for every dimension combination.
Five Component Categories
Glass, Spacer / Gap, Injection (e.g. argon fill), Connector and Georgian Bars — each with its own quantity formula based on area, perimeter or grid count.
Live Cutting Plan (FFDH)
First-Fit Decreasing Height shelf packing produces a guillotine-friendly layout with kerf, two-orientation fit, sheet count, utilization % and scrap area — rendered as SVG inside the dialog.
Cross-Line Sheet Pooling
A “Glass Sheet Optimization” tab on the SO pools every cut by glass product so pieces from different lines share material — meaningfully lower scrap than per-line layouts.
Remnant Tracking & Reuse
Per-product min-dimension thresholds. Operator logs offcuts via a wizard from the MO; the planner consumes the smallest available remnant first the next time the same glass is needed.
MO Without a BOM
Confirming the SO creates one MO per glass-configured line, built straight from the saved component lines. No BOM means no per-dimension BOM maintenance.
Live Margin Visibility
Per-row cost and selling subtotals plus a final unit price let the salesperson see margin on every component before saving the line.
Bilingual UI
Full English and Arabic (ar_001) translations included. RTL layout supported through Odoo’s standard mechanism.
