Can I manage multiple screens and assign different content to each one?

Yes. Each screen is independently identified and linked to Odoo using a unique PIN code. Once paired, you can assign a completely different playlist or content item to each device from the same Odoo back-office dashboard.

Does each screen get its own dedicated URL?

All screens share the same player URL. On first use, the system prompts for a PIN code to pair and register that browser session as a unique, independent display.

Can I manage multiple screens in different stores remotely?

Full multi-store management with role-based access is still in development. As a workaround, you can use tags to group devices by store and assign a dedicated manager per group. Remote content updates work regardless of screen location.

Is there a limit on the number of screens or playlists?

The module itself imposes no limit on screens or playlists. Practical limits depend on your server capacity and network performance, not on the software licensing.

I use a Raspberry Pi 4 with two TVs in extended desktop mode. Can I show different content on each TV from the same device?

Yes. Open a separate browser window or session for each TV and register each with its own PIN. The module identifies screens by browser session, not by physical machine, so two windows on the same Raspberry Pi are treated as two separate displays. Each can receive a different playlist.

What content formats does the module support?

The module supports MP4 video, MP3 audio, images, PDFs, web pages, custom HTML, and text. For large video files, hosting on YouTube or another CDN is recommended to reduce bandwidth strain on your Odoo server.

Can I set a custom duration for each item in a playlist?

Yes. Each playlist item has its own configurable display duration, and the system automatically advances to the next item when the time expires.

Do playlists loop automatically for 24/7 operation?

Yes. Enable the loop option on any playlist and it will run continuously without interruption.

If I update a playlist in Odoo, do screens refresh automatically?

Yes. Screens detect content changes and update automatically. The original source page also highlights live screen refresh and immediate update propagation as core selling points.

Can I schedule different playlists based on time of day or day of the week?
