Donation Receipting Engine Nonprofits and charities everywhere must give donors a receipt that states, correctly, how much of a gift is actually tax deductible. A gift is rarely "just the amount": if the donor received a dinner, a gala seat, a tote bag or event tickets in return, the fair market value of that benefit is NOT deductible and must be subtracted and disclosed. Most accounting apps hard-code a single receipt with the full amount, which is simply wrong and exposes the charity to donor and regulator problems.

Country-agnostic jurisdictions carry the rules that matter: currency, minimum receiptable amount, the de-minimis / token-benefit rule (a benefit below a percentage of the gift AND below a cash cap is disregarded so the gift stays fully deductible), required legal wording and the tax-year start month. Every donation records the gross amount, the fair market value of any benefit received, whether it is an in-kind gift, and computes the deductible amount with the jurisdiction's token-benefit test applied. Configurable receipt templates per jurisdiction and language drive the header, footer, legal text and whether the benefit breakdown is shown. Receipts are issued on demand or in batches, numbered from a strict per-jurisdiction sequence, and support a full **void / reissue audit**: voiding records a reason and reissuing links the new receipt back to the one it supersedes so the number chain is never broken. Consolidated annual statements group every eligible gift a donor made in a tax year into one document, totalling gross, benefit and deductible amounts per currency. Multi-currency throughout and every user-visible string translatable for multi-language rendering.
