Go to Products and open the Product Modifiers menu to view the list of all available modifier products.
Create a New Product Modifier by configuring the modifier details, such as the modifier name, price adjustment, and other required settings.
Navigate to Modifier Groups to create a new Product Modifier Group.
Create a Modifier Group and assign one or more product modifiers to the group. This allows multiple modifier options to be grouped together for easy selection during sales.
The system also supports portion-based products, such as Half, Half & Half, or other custom portion options. Configure these portion products within the modifier group based on your business requirements.
From the Product configuration, enable the option to Sell by Portion (for example, Half Portion or Half & Half). This allows the POS to sell products in different portions while maintaining accurate pricing.
When a portion-based product is sold, the system automatically manages the inventory, stock movements, and related product quantities, ensuring accurate stock tracking and seamless inventory management.
Assign the Modifier Group to the required product so that customers or cashiers can choose modifiers when placing an order.
If you want to sell products by portion, simply enable the "Sell by Portion" option. You can then configure the available portion sizes and allow mixed flavors, enabling customers to choose combinations such as Half & Half during the sales process.
Next, start a POS session and add the desired product to the order.
Based on the product configuration, the system will automatically display the available portion options and any allowed mixed flavors, allowing the cashier to complete the order with the selected combination. And add to order.
View the Edit Cart screen in Odoo POS, where you can modify the selected product and apply the required product modifiers..
View the selected product in the POS order receipt, including the applied product modifiers based on your selection.
To sell a product as a mixed flavor, select the desired portion (such as Half & Half) and proceed with the order.
Choose the mixed flavors for the selected portion. After selecting the required mixed flavors, click Add to Cart.
The mixed-flavor product is successfully added to the POS cart with the selected portion and flavor combination.
View the mixed-flavor product in the POS order receipt, where all selected portions and modifiers are clearly displayed.
Configure Fixed Price Products by assigning a fixed price to a specific product modifier or portion.
Select the desired portion for the fixed-price product. The system will automatically apply the predefined fixed price during the sales process.
View the Edit Cart screen in Odoo POS, where you can modify the selected product and apply the required product modifiers.
View the fixed-price product in the POS receipt, where the selected portion and its fixed price are accurately reflected.
