Board meeting lifecycle
A dedicated governance workspace organizes meetings into Draft, Under Review, Approved, and Distributed lanes. Each card exposes committee, date, attendance, quorum, and lifecycle status at a glance.
Agenda management
Build timed, presenter-led agendas with parent items, sub-items, discussion status, notes, and supporting documents. The same structure guides the secretary in Odoo and the member in the Reading Room.
Board pack generation
Sequence meeting documents, assemble the board book, distribute the current pack, and keep the downloadable PDF connected to its source meeting. Per-document restrictions and private annotations are supported in the workflow.

Does it replace Odoo Calendar?
No. Board meetings extend native Calendar events with governance-specific lifecycle, agenda, board book, minutes, resolutions, and action controls.
Can external board members use it?
Yes. Invited members use the Board Portal and Reading Room without needing the full internal backend.
Can we manage more than one committee?
Yes. Boards and committees have their own members, approvers, quorum requirements, meetings, and archives.
Are actions tracked after a decision?

Can directors annotate documents?

The module includes an optional signature workflow that can integrate with Odoo Sign when available, with manual confirmation fallback. Validate the optional Enterprise path in your deployment before production use.
Which Odoo editions and deployment environments are supported?
DX Board Portal is available for Odoo 18 and 19, compatible with Odoo Community and Enterprise editions, and supports Odoo.sh and On-Premise deployments. The Odoo 18 and 19 Community builds were validated; Enterprise environments remain subject to standard customer environment validation.
Compatibility and scope
Target: Odoo 18.0 and 19.0. Compatible with Odoo Community Edition and Odoo Enterprise Edition. The Odoo 18 and 19 Community builds were validated through isolated install, upgrade, uninstall, and runtime smoke tests. Enterprise environments are supported when running the same Odoo major version, subject to standard customer environment validation.
Dependencies: stock Odoo Calendar, Mail, Project, Website/Portal, Bus, and Base Setup modules. Python packages pypdf and reportlab are required for PDF workflows.
Deployment: supports Odoo.sh and On-Premise deployments. Production worker, proxy, database connection, mail, and bus settings remain the responsibility of the Odoo operator. Review the included deployment notes before rollout.
