Dynamic Search

Dynamic Search allows administrators to create dynamic search filters for any Odoo model without custom development. Users can quickly search records using predefined fields and operators directly from the search bar.

Configuration

Navigate to:

Select the target model, choose the field expression, define the operator, and deploy the filter.

Example 1: Search by Total Amount

Configure a dynamic filter for the Total field using the Greater Than Or Equal operator.

Users can type a value such as 5000 directly in the search bar.

The system automatically applies the configured search condition and returns matching records.

Example 2: Search by Related Fields

Dynamic Search supports relational fields using field expressions such as: Customer-> City.

Users can search quotations by customer city directly from the search bar.
