Generate EasyPost API Key
Login to your EasyPost account, go to Account Settings and create a Production API Key under the API Keys tab.
Shipping Methods
Navigate to Shipping Methods under Configuration in the Sales module to set up EasyPost.
Configure EasyPost Provider
Choose EasyPost as the Provider, set the Delivery Product, and add your API Key under the EasyPost Configuration tab.
Add Shipping to Quotation
Create a new Quotation and click ADD SHIPPING to select EasyPost as the shipping method.
Get Shipping Rate
Choose the EasyPost Shipping Method and click GET RATE to fetch the average shipping cost.
Confirm the Quotation
EasyPost shipping is added to the sale order line. Confirm the quotation to proceed.
Validate Delivery
Open the Delivery smart button and validate the delivery to generate the EasyPost shipment.
Tracking Reference
The EasyPost Tracking Reference is automatically added to the delivery after validation.
Tracking Smart Button
Click the Tracking smart button to view EasyPost label records linked to the delivery.
Download Shipping Label
Click Label to download the EasyPost shipping label for the shipment.
Track Shipment
Click Track Shipment to open the real-time tracking page for the EasyPost shipment.
Multiple Packages
Add packages to the delivery and validate — multiple shipments are generated in EasyPost automatically.

How do I configure EasyPost as a shipping provider in Odoo?
Go to Sales > Configuration > Delivery Methods, open or create an EasyPost record, change the Provider to "EasyPost", and enter your API Key under the EasyPost Configuration tab. Save and toggle the method to Published so it appears on sale orders and the website checkout.
How are real-time shipping rates fetched from EasyPost?
When you click "Add Shipping" on a sale order and select EasyPost, the module calls the EasyPost API using the customer address, warehouse address, and estimated product weight. The lowest available rate is returned and applied to the order with automatic currency conversion if needed.
How are shipping labels generated and downloaded?
Labels are generated automatically when you validate the delivery order. The module purchases the shipment via EasyPost and stores the label URL linked to the delivery. Use the Tracking smart button on the validated delivery to view all labels and click the download button to get the label PDF.
Does the module support multiple packages in one delivery?
Yes. If packages are assigned to move lines in the delivery, a separate EasyPost shipment is created for each package and individual labels are generated. All tracking references are combined and stored on the delivery record.
Is EasyPost available as a shipping option on the website checkout?
Yes. Once the EasyPost delivery method is published, it appears as a shipping option during eCommerce website checkout alongside any other configured delivery methods.
