Frequently Asked Questions
Does this report support Odoo Community Edition?
Yes, the module is fully compatible with both Odoo Community and Enterprise Editions.
How is the "Age" of stock calculated?
For Tracked Products (Serial/Lot), it uses the specific Incoming Date of the
Lot/Serial.
For Non-Tracked Products, it uses a smart "Physical FIFO" logic that walks backward
through your Receipt history to find the original arrival date of the quantity
currently on hand, ensuring accuracy even with Average Costing (AVCO).
Does it handle Returned goods correctly?
Yes! Ideally, if you receive goods and then return them to the vendor, those goods are no longer in stock. Our logic checks for linked "Return" moves and deducts them from the original Receipt quantity, so you don't get false positives for stock that isn't there.
Can I configure differnt "Dead Stock Days" for different companies?
Yes, the "Dead Stock Days" threshold is a Company-specific setting. If you satisfy a multi-company environment, each company can have its own definition of dead stock (e.g., Company A = 90 days, Company B = 365 days).
