Print elegant price-less gift receipts from Point of Sale. The buyer keeps the full priced bill; the gift recipient sees product names and quantities only. Split gifts by alphabet groups, set partial gift quantities, and add To / From / Message on every slip.
Enable gift receipts per POS from Point of Sale → Configuration → Settings. Use Actions → Gift Receipt in the POS session to select lines, group, and message. After payment, print the full receipt and gift slip — with optional auto-print, barcode for returns, email send, packing-slip mode, and gift print history on the backend order.
Full Bill + Gift Slip from One POS Order
Cashiers prepare gift lines before payment, then print a price-less gift receipt for the recipient while the store keeps the full itemized bill with prices. Split by alphabet groups A/B/C, gift only part of a line quantity, and include a personal message — all from the POS Actions menu.
- Price-less Gift Slip: Product name and quantity only — no prices for the gift recipient.
- Buyer Bill Intact: Full priced receipt stays available, with Back to Full Receipt when needed.
- Returns Ready: Optional barcode / ticket code on the gift receipt for standard Odoo POS Refund lookup.
