Does this module support partial invoice payments?

Yes. If a customer makes a partial payment on an invoice, the card processing fee is automatically recalculated based on the partial payment amount rather than the invoice total.

How are fee formulas calculated?

The module supports both "On top" (fee = Billing × rate + Fixed) and "Gross-up" (fee = (Billing + Fixed)/(1 - rate) - Billing) calculations, allowing you to choose how surcharges are passed on.

Is the fee added to the sales order or invoice lines?

No. To prevent clutter and simplify accounting, the module creates a separate fee journal entry to book the card fee and clear the receivable residual upon payment post-processing.

How does the module handle international card fees?

It detects the card issuing country dynamically via the Stripe API after checkout. Before payment, it defaults to the customer's partner country to estimate domestic vs. international rates.
