Zoom Meeting Setup and Scheduling Process
Review the exact configuration panels and Odoo interfaces showing developer settings, Server-to-Server OAuth, meeting options, webhooks, and Calendar integrations.
Navigate to the Zoom App Marketplace, choose the Server-to-Server OAuth App creation type, and click Create.
Enter a descriptive name for your application, such as "odoo zoom integration", in the app creation modal.
Under the App Credentials tab in the Zoom Marketplace, locate and copy the Account ID, Client ID, and Client Secret.
On the Information tab, complete the required developer details, including company name and contact info.
Under the Feature tab, configure event subscriptions and copy the Webhook Secret Token to secure live updates.
On the Scopes tab, add the necessary permissions for meetings and users, including meeting read/write and delete scopes.
Navigate to the Activation tab and click the "Activate your app" button to enable the credentials.
Verify the confirmation message displaying "Your app is activated on the account" once activation is complete.
In Odoo, navigate to Settings and paste your Zoom credentials, configure default meeting options, set webhooks, and test connection.
Create a Zoom meeting in Odoo. The record starts in "Draft" state with the "Create on Zoom" action button visible.
Once created, the status updates to "Scheduled" and the Zoom join/start links, meeting ID, passcode, and control buttons appear.
Open any Odoo Calendar event and access the "Zoom Meeting" tab to view meeting info, video join link, and send invitation emails.
Click the email action to open the Contact Attendees email wizard pre-populated with Zoom details and attendee lists.
Review the Odoo chatter log to verify the invitation email containing the video meeting Join link was successfully sent.
